 A little over three months after the initial announcement, Lana Del Rey released her new album, Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.

The singer-songwriter presented his LPs under the titles "AandW" and "The Grants". The new album features contributions from Jack Antonoff (who worked with Del Rey on 2019's Norman Fucking Rockwell!), Father John Misty, Jon Batiste, and producers Drew Erickson and Zach Dawes.

Did you know that There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd is Lana Del Rey's first album since 2021 when she released Chemtrails Over the Country Club and Blue Banisters? After the release of her latest record, she shared Euphoria's "Watercolor Eyes" and teamed up with father John Misty for an updated version of "Buddy's Rendezvous." 
 
Earlier this fall, Del Rey told fans in a series of deleted videos that several hard drives were stolen from her car, leading to the leak of some unfinished tracks. She claimed that the manuscript of the book she was working on was also lost. "I had to remotely wipe my computer with my 200-page  Simon and Schuster book that I didn't back up to the cloud," She said at the time. She also asked fans not to listen to any of the leaked music. 

In 2020, Del Rey released the poetry collection  Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass, which she also released in audiobook format. In announcing the project, She told fans that half of the proceeds would benefit Native American organizations across the country, "whether it's preserving their rights or trying to help keep their land intact."
